Privacy Policy
Escalate Software LLC ("Escalate Software," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website at escalatesoftware.com (the "Site") or any of our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide directly. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other information you submit through forms, sign-ups, or correspondence with us.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps via standard server logs and cookies.
- SMS opt-in information. If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent (including the date, time, and source of opt-in).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Site and our services;
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with you about products, services, or support;
- Send transactional and service-related messages, including SMS messages you have opted in to receive;
- Improve the Site and develop new features;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. SMS / Text Messaging
Escalate Software LLC uses Twilio as its SMS service provider to deliver text messages to users who have opted in to receive them.
Opt-in. You will only receive SMS messages from us after you have provided your express consent (for example, by submitting your phone number through an opt-in form, checking a consent box, or replying with a confirmation keyword).
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on the program you opt in to.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
HELP and STOP. You can text HELP at any time to receive help, or STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS messages. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, and others.
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent information to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. All SMS opt-in data and consent information is treated as confidential and is not shared with anyone outside of Escalate Software LLC and the SMS service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you have requested.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate properly, remember your preferences, and analyze how visitors use the Site. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some parts of the Site may not function correctly as a result.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate our business and provide services to you (for example, hosting providers, analytics tools, and SMS delivery services such as Twilio). These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and may only use it for the purposes we specify.
- Legal obligations. We may disclose information when required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Escalate Software LLC, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
7. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site and our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.
